September, 2010

September's meeting was attended by 8 members

Members agreed to hold a photo contest to be publicly announced in the paper and on the website. The photo would be used for the new NFWA brochure. Vote passed to award a 50 dollar gift certificate to the winner for Mik's Supermarket. Details on the home page. Deadline is October 12, and the brochure itsself should be completed by the end of the year.

Bear Pen Grant is ready for submission, costs were cut in hopes of it being accepted.

Next water sampling date is set for Saturday, September 18th. We will meet at Swede Run lot at 9am.

Ruth Rowan has taken over as NFWA Treasurer, by majority vote, after the resignation of Steve (thanks Ruth!!).
