February, 2010

February's meeting was attended by 5 members.

Thankyou's were signed by officers for the organizations that donated toward the fish food project. More information about the additional stocking should be available at the next meeting.

NFWA should receive an answer on the Bear Pen Run grant by the end of February, so hopefully at March's meeting.

Website traffic has increased and the Business and Organizational member's will be added to the site under Members link.

Next monitoring date will be set at the March meeting and will probably be toward the end of the month, hopefully closer to trout season. In addition, volunteers will be needed for shovelling limestone into the tributaries, also near the end of March or early April, to help maintain the buffer in the streams for the upcoming season.
